Blocking the sun on your home before it enters a window is the most effective way to reduce heat gain and in turn, lower your energy costs for air conditioning. Sun shades roll down when you need heat protection and roll up when you don’t. Therefore, sun shades are the perfect window solution for extreme sun exposure. Solar shades can be mounted on either the outside of the windows or on the inside and block up to 97% of the sun’s heat and UV rays. Like sunglasses for your windows, solar shades enhance the view by filtering the sun and reducing unwanted glare. Solar shades can be utilized in two ways. On hot days, heat gain can be controlled by rolling down solar shades to block the heat. And in the winter, you may prefer to have shades rolled up tomaximize solar heat.

Solar shades can be used alone on the exterior of your home or layered with draperies or valance treatments on the interior. They are perfect for the protection of valuable furnishings and interior finishes, including flooring, rugs, walls and pianos. Solar shades are custom made for windows up to 120″ wide x 120″ high.

Fire-rated (FR) Aurora solar screen fabric consists of vinyl-coated polyester yarns woven in a 2 x 2 basketweave configuration. This value-priced fabric provides excellent view-through visibility. 27% Polyester, 73% PVC solar fabric in 3% and 5% openness choices.

E Screen with KOOLBLACK Technology

High performance, FR solar screen fabric with KOOLBLACK Technology to provide maximized heat blockage and energy savings in dark colors. In 3% and 5% openness, 36% fiberglass, 64% vinyl.

Eclipse

Fire-rated (FR) blackout fabric; opaque with no view-through for privacy and room darkening. In 6 decorator colors, with the look and feel of rich cloth; composition: 100% polyester with acrylic foamed backing (PVC Free).

Equinox

Woven in a 2 x 2 basketweave configuration to maximize clarity of view, Equinox FR Solar Screen is available in 1%, 3%, 5% and 10% openness choices. Composition: 36% fiberglass, 64% Vinyl.

Infinity 2

Sustainable FR solar fabric, recyclable and made with recycled contents. Full basketweave design, in 3% and 5% openness choices, and in 5 colors.

Mesa

FR solar screen fabric, Mesa is woven in a 2 x 2 basketweave pattern, available in wide widths and 7 stylish colors. With a composition of 37% fiberglass and 63% vinyl on fiberglass, each color is available in 4 densities: 1%, 3%, 5%, and 10%.

Natural Weave

Fire-rated (FR) solar screen fabric woven with diverse textures and rich colors for a natural shade appearance with superior durability, minimal maintenance and excellent outward view-through. In 5-10% openness, composition varies for each fabric. PVC coated polyester with additional acrylic or olefin yarns.

Natural Weave Linen

Our Natural Weave Linen collection features FR solar screen fabrics woven with a slubbed texture and varied colors for a sophisticated, linen-like appearance. Made of polyester and vinyl, the fabric’s 3% openness provides excellent outward visibility.

Sedona

FR solar screen Sedona is a rib weave fabric with a subtle, organic looking texture created by the variation in both vertical and horizontal threads. Available in 3% and 5% openness choices to meet view and sun management needs.

Sierra

FR solar screen fabric in 1%, 3% and 5% openness, Sierra is woven in a basketweave pattern to maximize clarity of view. Value and performance in 6 color choices.

SilverScreen

High Performance Fire-rated (FR) fabric; 4% openness. Composition: PVC-coated fiberglass with highly reflective aluminum backing.

Eclipse

Nightfall is an opaque, fiberglass and vinyl Fire-rated (FR) blackout fabric. 3 ply vinyl, 1 ply fiberglass construction results in a commercial grade, durable blackout fabric.

Nocturne

Fire-rated (FR) blackout fabric made of 100% polyester with acrylic coating; Nocturne is a commercial grade, durable blackout fabric available in 5 classic colors.

Orion

Orion FR blackout fabric is a lightly textured, smooth fabric with soft acrylic foam backing and 100% polyester base fabric. Perfect for adding privacy or room darkening, Orion is available in 5 neutral colors.

Shadow

Shadow blackout fabric features a stylish, natural looking horizontal slub that provides great surface interest. With PITCH BLACK® coating made to withstand the harshest sunlight conditions, Shadow provides excellent UV protection, room darkening and privacy. 55% polyester, 25% cationic polyester, and 20% cotton; in 4 colors.

Twilight

Twilight Fire-rated (FR) blackout fabric has a rich, textile appearance with a subtle sheen, and will not allow light flow through the fabric. This elegant fabric has a matching translucent fabric counterpart, Daybreak. Composition: 42% fiberglass, 51% acrylic 7% cotton flocked backing (PVC-Free).
